Very large, well presented and equipped - and in beautiful, relaxing grounds. Enormously helpful, friendly and pleasant owner. He also brought us wine and some cakes and was a delightful host.

We have vacationed in this beautiful house several times and are always happy to return. The house is very well maintained and offers a fantastic view of the Tuscan hills. The bathrooms in some rooms have been renovated, and this has been done very well. We were very pleased with the new gas grill on the covered terrace. The owner always strives to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely return to this beautiful house.

We had an amazing stay. The property was beautiful, cannot beat the views! The host was very responsive and addressed every question we had. They were also very helpful in arranging a cooking class and helping with other questions we had about the area. The welcome tour with wine and parting donuts were such a nice touch.

Das Objekt ist sehr schön gelegen und gut ausgestattet.
Der letzte Weg zum Gebäude ist allerdings in ziemlich schlechtem Zustand.

Perfect place to stay for a large group. With four separate apartments you have opportunities for privacy but then with the large communal eating, cooking and gathering areas. Pool was pristine with lots of loungers and deck chairs. The villa is in a very quiet spot with views over The Valley.

We had a lovely week with friends and their families. The villa is really beautiful and comfy, each apartment gives you privacy when you need it, the view is marvellous. Franco, the host, was really open and friendly. Location at the end of a dirt road gives you absolute privacy. Nearby town is just 5min drive or 25-35min walk away - ideal for a hike (quite uphill :) ) Te kitchen has a lot of big pans and pots to serve even such big group as 16 people. The Internet was OK.

Ottimo alloggio per gruppi numerosi. Meraviglioso il panorama. Gli spazi comuni permettono di passare del bel tempo nonostante eventuali piogge (come nel nostro caso!). Veramente consigliato. Unica nota leggermente negativa, probabilmente, la poca trasparenza dei prezzi del gas al momento della prenotazione.

Casa stupenda, in un contesto mozzafiato. Il casale ha tutte le comodità per potersi godere l’esperienza nel migliore dei modi. Il proprietario, Franco, una persona squisita e molto gentile, in grado di rispondere ad ogni domanda e richiesta in breve tempo. Consigliatissimo.

Amazing location, stunning view and wonderful villa!
Ideal for big groups.

E' andato tutto benissimo. Il Sig. Franco molto gentile e disponibile. Struttura pulita e in ordine. Qualche difficoltà nel bagno senza doccia, difficile lavarsi senza bagnare ovunque, e un po' di freddino dato il periodo. In casa non manca nulla, la cucina nella zona in comune è ben attrezzata, elettrodomestici nuovi e pentole e stoviglie a disposizione. Le camere semplici ma complete. La strada sterrata per arrivare al casale non è facilissima, ma tutto sommato, con molta cautela, anche con una vettura bassa si può fare.

In September 2021 we spent for the second time a dream vacation in Casale Santa Francesca.
The area is wonderful and Santa Francesca is simply ideal for a vacation with several families and many children.
Grandparents, children and grandchildren alike are delighted with this property, the wonderful, large pool, the Jacuzzi and the surrounbding.

We regret that the rental prices have doubled, in some cases even tripled in the last year. Not only can we afford another vacation on Santa Francesca, but now there is simply a great disproportion between price and performance.

This house is perfect for a large group of people looking forward to sunbathing or chatting while enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. The owner was very accommodating and promptly solved any issues that came up during our stay. The house is off road and finding grocery stores is a challenge. Recommended for an off-grid experience. Lovely to watch deers and foxes running through the fields in front of the house. Stunning view. Not the cheapest option but for many reasons! Looking forward to coming back next year! Villa pazzesca esattamente come da foto. Tantissimo spazio sia fuori che dentro l'abitazione. Uniche due note: 1. nei bagni non sono forniti sapone o altro quindi vanno comprati o portati (meglio saperlo prima perchè se si arriva la sera non si ha modo di comprarli) 2. Abbiamo avuto dei problemi di elettricità che è mancata per una mattina e essendo in smart working questo ci ha messo un pò in difficoltà - detto ciò era un problema dovuto ad una manutenzione sporadica quindi è stato un caso che sia capitato a noi

Ein Haus in einzigartiger Lage für die, die einen ruhigen Platz zum Genießen suchen. Die Bilder zeigen ein ziemlich genaues Bild der Ausstattung und Aufteilung des Hauses. Die Anfahrt über 2 km von Campiglia ist holprig und manchmal steil, aber für robuste Autos kein Problem.

Posto stupendo immerso nelle colline toscane. Il Sig. Franco il proprietario una persona gentilissima e disponibile per risolvere qualsiasi problema o necessità. Abbiamo passato una bellissima settimana eravamo 4 famiglie. Unica cosa che mi sento di dire che forse è meglio mettere nelle caratteristiche che la strada per arrivare alla casa è molto dissestata ed un auto bassa non può percorrerla, per fortuna noi avevamo tutti dei suv.

bellissimo casale con vista sull'intera val d'orcia, fornito di tutto il necessario per trascorrere vacanze in pieno relax. l'host Franco si è dimostrato una persona gentile e disponibile, pronto ad assecondare ogni nostra richiesta. lo consiglio!

Super Ausblick durch die erhabene Lage. Küche ist top ausgestattet. Gasherd mit 5 Kochfeldern und Elektrobackofen. Große Spülmaschine. Im Haus ist ausreichend Geschirr vorhanden. Es sind genügend bequeme Liegen und ausreichend Sonnenschirme am Pool da. Authentisches Haus mit Stil. Franco, der Eigentümer, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
2 km Schotteranfahrt zum Haus, so dass wir uns mit Aufbackbrötchen begnügt haben.

Wir verbringen seit vielen Jahren unseren Urlaub in verschiedenen Regionen der Toskana. Der Urlaub in Santa Francesca war ein absoluter Höhepunkt. Traumhaft!

Als längjähriger Kunde freuen wir uns jedes Jahr auf das schöne Haus mit dem phantastischen Weitblick. Das Haus ist sehr gut gepflegt und wir geniesen die Zeit. Der Garten bietet auch tagsüber Schatten. Vielen Dank auch an Franco für die freundliche Betreuung. Wir kommen wieder!

Maison située dans la campagne, emplacement fantastique avec un paysage typiquement toscan. Le propriétaire Franco était très gentil et très accueillant. L'emplacement ne peut pas être mieux si vous cherchez un endroit calme, relaxant et authentique dans la campagne.

This property perfectly matched our needs, we were 4 families looking for a vacation home where we could be together but also have our own privacy. Since the group had children of all different ages, we liked having our own apartment. That way our small children could nap and have their own schedule, without bothering other people, especially in the middle of the night or early in the morning.
The pool and the large common room next to the kitchen were perfect for spending time all together. The pool is fenced in, which is a great help when you have young children. We didn’t travel around much, we were content with staying by the pool- the views are quite impressive and we had a great holiday.

Lovely stay at Casale Santa Francesca, it was the perfect home base for travelling around Tuscany. The property is big and even if you are part of a large group of people you won’t feel cramped, the dining area (inside and outside) was big enough to acommodate our big party of 16. You might argue with your companions over the Jacuzzi, but you can enjoy the big swimming pool while you are waiting for your turn! The views are incredible, the quiet is absolute. Thank you Franco for your warm hospitality and for sharing your amazing property with us.

This property is a dream. The house is furnished beautifully and well appointed for 16 people. The gardens filled with flowers and plants are stunning along with a breathtaking view of the hills of Tuscany. We were 16 adults and enjoyed a meal cooked by a chef at the house one evening and cooked for ourselves in the well appointed kitchen. The pool is huge and very clean. A bit chilly in May but we still made the best of it! Pienza is about 20 minutes by car and our favorite Bagnovignoni was less than 30 minutes away. Go there for quiet, views, sunsets and warm afternoons at the pool! Can't wait to return!
