Villa Popi

Villa Popi is without a doubt, the best property I've ever stayed in. The location is perfect - just a short walk to the beaches (which are gorgeous) and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The views are spectacular, from the master bedroom balcony you're greeted by a panoramic view of Crete's mountainous terrain complimented by the stunning ocean which glistens in the sunlight. All of this is topped off with a pool placed perfectly to capture the sunlight. Kostas is a fantastic host and very helpful. Drive way is really only good for hatchbacks, not SUVs.

Excellent service! Booking was very fast and easy. The host (Kostas) was great! We can recommend the Villa 100%. There was even space to park the car. We loved it!

We had a very enjoyable six nights at Villa Popi. It has two good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and a small but well-stocked kitchen area, as well as a lounge. We loved the pool. It's not heated but it warms up in the sun. We didn't bring a car, and it's a 10 minute walk to the local beach, and 7-8 minute walk to the local restaurants and mini-marts. Note: the walk is all downhill on the way, and all uphill on the way back, but it wasn't too bad. There is a bus into Chania from the beachfront every 20 minutes. Kostas, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful and responded well to the occasional issues we encountered. He made us feel very welcome, and the villa was thoroughly cleaned midway through our stay, which was a nice touch.

very modern villa with a lovely view of Chania. We didn’t rent a car and walked to the seafront which was doable but needed the pool afterwards. There was a bit of a problem with ants in the kitchen during our stay.

This was a great stay, we enjoyed the pool and outdoor area. We had some trouble with power and were unable to get the garage door open but the property managers were very responsive and helped as quickly as possible. Felt clean but could be a bit cleaner. Overall would recommend

Très belle villa, bien placée proche de la mer et de La Canée. Moderne, bien équipée et décorée, piscine parfaite et place de parking dans la villa. Vue dégagée avec la mer au loin. Une fois les cigales endormies on entend un peu la route mais pas trop gênant. Kostas et Maria très gentils et serviables, accueil parfait. Je recommande !

Beatiful view and really nice, even larger villa and pool than what the pictures looked like. Helpfull host.

We loved staying at this property for our stay in Crete. Everything went smoothly and it was very conveniently located near town and the beach. We also really enjoyed the private pool.

Nous avons séjourné 6 jours en famille (4 pers) fin octobre 2023. La villa est moderne, spacieuse et très bien aménagée ; la déco est sympa. Stationnement à l'intérieur de la cour. Piscine non chauffée (eau fraîche fin octobre). Quartier calme. Vue dégagée. Situation géographique très pratique pour se rendre à Chania/La Canée et sillonner toute la côté ouest. Un petit supermarché de proximité est accessible à pieds. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Konstantinos à notre arrivée avec quelques produits à disposition (jus de fruits et bouteilles d'eau au frigo, confitures, biscottes, mini croissants ...) et cette personne est passée au bout de quelques jours pour changer le linge et faire un peu de ménage. Un chat très câlin habitué des lieux nous a rendu visite pendant notre séjour. Une seule remarque: au niveau de l'équipement de la cuisine en poêles, casseroles, saladier c'est un peu juste. Et il y a un grand nombre d'interrupteurs au RdC : pas facile de s'y retrouver ! On reviendra.

Great stay at Villa popi. It's was a great location for me, a couple of miles outside town, quiet and peaceful. loads of beaches and amenities nearby. Great views. Would stay again next time.

Villa Popi was great, felt brand new and Kosta the owner caretaker was great. We have been to Crete man many times and this was the first time I found such a perfect spot, quiet neighborhood and the Villa was stocked with a great welcome basket. It was very very clean! perfect location in proximity to Chania the highway and many great beaches. We will be back!

Beautiful! Pictures do not do this place justice. It’s located above a vineyard overlooking the sea. I don’t think you will get a better back drop. We went two adults 3 kids and it was perfect for us. Can’t cook plain one bit. The owner also very nice people. We got there late because of a delay and didn’t arrive until 00:30 which he then took me to the shop. Also his wife made us a dish as a gift and gave us some local raki as a gift.
Inside is everything you need. Washer, all the things to cook. Smart tvs in every room, good air conditioning.
The location is great because your get a sea breeze because you are high up. Probably a 5 minute walk from the beach, mini super market and restaurants.

Very clean and tidy with everything required for a comfortable stay.

Centrally located and a short drive from the old town and the beach. You WILL need a car in Crete. Luckily there is a single parking spot at the villa for your convenience. Beautiful villa, it's modern and airy and overlooks a winery! The host made sure the villa was spotless and stocked with water and local snacks (which we appreciated when we missed the opportunity to eat dinner). Villa had everything, a washer, dryer, all appliances, a/c, and wifi. 10/10 experience.

Wir haben uns in der modern eingerichteten Villa Popi sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Gastgeber Kostas und Popi sind sehr herzlich - einmal gab es sogar selbstgemachte Moussaka für uns und die Kommunikation hat sehr gut funktioniert. Viele Restaurants sind in 10-20 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung für Ausflüge durch die nahe E65.

The house is as good as new and has a great view over the ocean. Regarding the household appliances it did not lack anything. Our hosts were very nice and welcoming. If there were any problems, you could always contact them by phone. At arrival we found the house in a clean condition. We are very happy with our stay at Villa Popi.

Gastgeber, Lage, Ausstattung, Preisverhältnis, alles alles TOP. Wir haben uns bei der Begrüßung und beim Abschied sehr willkommen gefühlt.
So muss ein Urlaub sein!
